Booking and Session Details

How do I book a session?
Booking is easy! Simply click the "Book A Session" button in the navigation bar or click here to get started.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking as early as possible to secure your desired date, especially for high-demand times. Sessions within the current year are ideal.
What time of day is best for a shoot?
For outdoor shoots, the best lighting occurs during golden hour—right after sunrise or 90 minutes before sunset. Studio sessions, however, can be scheduled at any time.
How do I choose a location for the shoot?
I’ve curated a list of stunning spots across Denver County and beyond. During the pre-planning process, we’ll collaborate to find a location that aligns with your vision—whether it’s one of my recommendations or a special place of your own.
How many outfits can I bring?
This depends on your package. Layers and versatile pieces are always a good idea to maximize your looks without needing a full change. We'll discuss outfit details during the planning phase.

Payments and Policies

What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Life happens! If you provide at least 72 hours' notice, your deposit can be applied to a rescheduled session within two weeks (pending availability). Rescheduling beyond this timeframe incurs a $50 fee. Deposits are otherwise non-refundable.
Is the deposit refundable?
The 30% retainer to secure your booking is non-refundable, as it ensures your session is reserved exclusively for you. This amount will be applied toward your total cost.
How and when do I pay the balance?
After securing your booking with the retainer, the remaining balance is due one week before your session. Bookings made within 14 days of your shoot require full payment upfront. Payments are managed through your client portal for convenience.

Deliverables

How many photos will I receive?
The number of images varies by package and will be outlined in your contract. You can also purchase additional retouched images during the proofing stage for a fee.
Do I choose my photos?
Yes! After I pre-select the best shots from our session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery to choose your favorites. Your selected images will then undergo detailed retouching to ensure they meet my quality standards. (Note: Proofing galleries are not provided for event packages.)
What’s the difference between editing and retouching?
Editing: General adjustments to lighting, color, cropping, and tone.
Retouching: Advanced refinements such as skin smoothing, hair cleanup, and blemish removal. Retouching is reserved for portrait and studio sessions only. (I do not alter body shapes or facial features.)

How long does it take to get my photos?
Turnaround times vary:
Portrait/Studio Sessions: 2-3 weeks
Event Photography: 1-2 weeks
For rush editing, inquire about add-on options.

How do I receive my photos?
You’ll receive an email with a link to your online gallery, where you can download high-resolution images. Print releases and licensing details will also be included if applicable.
Can I get the RAW/unedited photos?
In most cases, no. My focus is on delivering polished, professional-quality work. However, I’m open to discussing specific needs.

Services and Equipment

What’s your photography style?
My work is cinematic, vintage-inspired, and editorial in quality. I use custom editing presets to create nostalgic tones, adding a touch of grain and fine-tuned lighting. Inspired by the fashion and film industries, I focus on creating images that feel timeless and unique.
Do you travel for shoots?
Absolutely! Travel fees apply for locations outside the Denver Metro Area, and I’m available for national and international assignments. Custom travel quotes are provided upon request.
Do you shoot weddings?
I specialize in intimate ceremonies and elopements with fewer than 100 guests.
What equipment do you use?
I currently work with two camera bodies: the Nikon D810 and Fujifilm X-T2, paired with a selection of high-quality lenses and lighting gear.
