Hello, I’m Beauty Astria Kussoy (b. 1997), a Denver-based artist weaving together photography, collage, writing, and cultural storytelling into fine art narratives. As an Indonesian-American woman raised in Southern California, I’ve learned to see the world through multiple lenses, each tinted by heritage, memory, and the textures of everyday life. My work is a living journal—cinematic, tender, and deeply human—reflecting the interplay between elegance and authenticity.
Armed with a BFA from Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, I approach my art like a patient archaeologist, uncovering layers of meaning beneath the surface of a glance, a gesture, or a whispered memory. Inspired by visionary photographers, collage artists, and literary voices, I embrace both the refinement and imperfections that give each piece its soul.
